O-Regen is the lead partner in a consortium delivering outreach services in LB Waltham Forest. We work in partnership with CBHA and Groundwork, along with other stakeholders of the WorkNet Partnership across the various Single Points of Access venues (SPAs). This provides services targeting workless individuals and groups at risk of social exclusion. They include people on low incomes; lone parents; BAME groups and people with disabilities and health issues.
We offer a range of services to individuals who want to increase their chances of finding employment. This includes:
Initial Assessment and Action planning
Careers advice by professional and qualified staff
Personalised action plan
CV building
Job search workshops (via the internet, newspapers, bulletins and jobs
database)
Adult directions – a computer package helping you to identify new career ideas
Interview techniques
Assistance with application forms
Work Experience
Job/Training brokerage & referrals to other providers
Our Outreach workers act as the clients dedicated caseworker; supporting the client into employment and helping remove their barriers to employment. They carry out initial assessments and action planning to identify and address barriers such as childcare support, source housing advice, travel assistance, disability and additional access needs. They also deliver clear cross-referrals between WorkNet Partnership partners (as well as other local and sub-regional employment and training providers). In-work follow-up support is also provided.
O-regen is locally based with various offices including the Click Centre in Leytonstone and the SCORE building in Leyton. Our Outreach venues include Waltham Forest Direct Leytonstone, JobCentre Plus (Walthamstow & Leytonstone), Wood St Health Centre, Higham Hill & Woodside School/Children’s Centre.
