O-Regen Wins ‘Olympics Job Brokerage and Business Support Co-ordination’ Contract

O-Regen and its partner, Construction Web have won a contract from London Borough of Waltham Forest to deliver job brokerage and Business co-ordination and Support Services with regard to the Olympic and Paralympic games. This will form the local element of a wider five host boroughs initiative (Legacy), aimed at maximising the economic benefits, flowing from the games, for local people. Over 280 Waltham Forest residents will be engaged by March 2007, resulting in over 30 local job outcomes.

The Olympic Park area will generate 12,000 new jobs, in sectors including construction, hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism as well as the media and business-to-business services. Over 9,000 new homes will be created.

O-Regen and Construction Web will operate a central point of contact (based at the new SCORE building in Leyton) for Waltham Forest that will be responsible for the dissemination of all information relating to opportunities notified, including Legacy or S106 agreements locally.
